ABOUT

I'm Talayeh

(Tala for short)

I’m a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutritional Science, specializing in digestive disorders and cardio-metabolic health.

My clinical focus includes IBS, IBD, SIBO, GERD, and laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), as well as cardio- metabolic health, and weight optimization. I work with individuals navigating complex symptoms who want clarity, structure, and sustainable strategies—not restriction or trends.

This work is also deeply personal. Having navigated my own digestive health challenges, I understand how disruptive gut symptoms can be—not just physically, but socially and emotionally. That lived experience informs how I practice: with empathy, precision, and a strong emphasis on quality of life.

Specialized Nutrition Care—Beyond the Appointment

One-on-One Guidance That Goes Deeper Than Telehealth

This isn’t a quick visit or generic nutrition advice. I work with you closely to understand your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle—so nutrition becomes a tool you can actually use in daily life.

My role is to help you build clarity and confidence around food, even between sessions, not to hand you a list and send you on your way. There are no quick fixes or band-aid solutions—only thoughtful, evidence-based care designed to support lasting progress.

You’ll leave with practical strategies and decision-making skills tailored to your digestive and metabolic health.

Clinical Nutrition Education—Personalized to You

Nutrition needs change depending on diagnosis, symptoms, and stage of care. Whether you’re managing IBS, IBD, SIBO, reflux, or cardiometabolic conditions,we work through what nutrition looks like for you—now and long term.

Care may evolve from symptom management to prevention, remission support, and overall health optimization. Every step is guided by research, clinical experience, and your real-world needs.

Food-First, Data-Driven, and Thoughtfully Supplemented

I take a food-first approach, using nutrition to support gut function, reduce inflammation, and improve cardiometabolic health whenever possible.

When supplements are appropriate, recommendations are guided by medical history and lab data, not trend. I help you understand which labs matter, when to request them, and how to interpret results—so decisions are informed and intentional.

My focus is always your health, your understanding, and your long-term well-being.
